I am so sorry for not blogging in a few weeks. I was on vacation in Florida visiting a friend. I just got in last night and I figured that I would blog about my vacation.
Alright. I drove to Seminole, Florida with my grandmother and her friend. He lives in Florida and he came up by plane and took us back to his place in Florida. We traveled for four days and on the way down, we met one of his daughters and her family. They made us feel very comfortable. They live in western North Carolina’s beautiful mountains. I loved the area where they lived. They had one of those driveways with woods on either side. Their house had a stone fireplace, wooden floors, a kitchen and two levels. This couple offered very good hospitality. They made my grandmother and I feel very comfortable. On the way back, we stopped in Tallahassee and met our friend’s other daughter and her family. They were also very friendly. We had dinner out with them and we had ourselves a good time. Then we went back to their house for dessert and that was a good time.
In Florida, we went to Weeki Watchi, Seaworld, a Tampa Bay Ray game, the dog races, Hard Rock Café, which is a casino and a mystery room, where we were locked in room and we had to figure out a particular scenario. That was really hard for me because most of the clues were physical clues like locks and maps. Our scenario was Kidnapped and only about seventeen percent actually complete it. We didn’t complete it but we were halfway there. I was horrible at it because I had no clue about the clues. A lot of them had to do with Xbox and I don’t know much about it. My favorite was the mermaid show at Weeki Watchi. They had actors that would go underwater and perform songs. The last one was Proud To Be An American and that is one of my uncle’s favorite songs. We experienced a baseball game, but the Tampa Bay Rays lost. We went to Seaworld and saw the dolphins, penguins and many more things. All in all, it was a really fun trip.
